Part Time Employment Advisor

Looking for a flexible, part-time role helping people with mental health needs into work?

A well-regarded charity has been commissioned by the DWP to support a group of jobseekers aged 18+ across Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond. This is a fixed-term contract until 30th September 2025, focused on helping individuals take positive steps towards employment.

You’ll work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 9am–5pm), with the option to spread your hours across 3 or 4 days. The pro rata salary is £14,865, based on a full-time equivalent of £27,500 for 37 hours.

The role is fully community based, with no set home working. You’ll meet clients at local Jobcentres, libraries, community centres, and cafés—providing accessible, one-to-one support where it suits them best. You’ll offer guidance on CV writing, job searching, interview prep, and better-off calculations, always with a focus on individual needs and wellbeing.

To be considered, you’ll need experience as an employment adviser, job coach, careers adviser, or similar, and be available to start quickly.
