Job Description - Part-time Finance Assistant

Part-time Finance Assistant
Permanent
Near Callington Cornwall
£25,500 pro rota
2 days a week ( job share to work Thursday and Fridays )

A reliable well-established company are seeking a reliable and committed Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team.

This role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Management: Process purchase and sales invoices; manage supplier and customer accounts; handle credit control.
Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll, including CIS tax statements and sub-contractor payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements
Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
Administrative Support: Manage financial correspondence; order stationery; assist the Finance Manager with various accounting duties

What’s required

Experience working in a similar role within Finance for 2 years would be an advantage.
knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting software such as Sage Accounts and Payroll.
experience of accounts payable ot credit control
Focused who is a good team player and good attention to detail
