The Role – Finance Assistant
Reporting into the finance controller, the Finance Assistant will play a key part in supporting core transactional finance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the sales ledger and invoicing process
* Credit control, aged debt follow‑up and customer queries
* Supporting weekly and monthly finance reporting
* Assisting with reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
* This Finance Assistant role works closely with other finance team members and provides essential operational support.
About You
To succeed as a Finance Assistant, you will have:
* Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or similar role
* Strong Excel skills (including formulas and lookups)
* Confidence communicating with internal teams and customers
* A practical understanding of accounting fundamentals
