Join Our Client's Team as a Part-Time Finance Manager!

Location: Taunton, Somerset
Contract: Permanent, part-time, up to 30 hours per week (flexibility how these are worked)
Salary: Circa £50,000 pro rata

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards.
• Lead the finance team in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
• Conduct regular audits of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare management information, including budgets and cashflows.

What they're looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• ACCA/ACA qualification or substantial experience.
• Knowledge of Sage 50 payroll.
• Experience in preparing ad hoc financial reports.
• Working knowledge of VAT, PAYE, and NIC.
• Accurate, methodical, and attention to detail.
