A Part Time Finance Manager is needed to spearhead the Accounting & Finance department for a small company based in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations and contributing to financial strategy.

Our client is a small company, located in the beautifully historic city of Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.

Description

Part Time Finance Manager responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
• Contribute to financial strategy and decision making.
• Produce timely management accounts
• Cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage VAT including preparation of VAT returns for each business entity and submission of group VAT returns'.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Monitor and manage cash flow.
• Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Provide financial insight and advice to the board.

Profile

A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:

• An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience of organisations with multiple income streams
• Experience in supervising
• Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency in using finance software
