Job Description - Part Time Finance Manager

Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a client in the Preston area as they look to recruit a Finance Manager on a part time basis over 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:
  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
  • Tracking / reconciling bank account balances
  • Maintaining a balanced general ledger
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts
  • Preparing, processing paying employee wages / payroll
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Chasing debtor balances
  • Paying creditors
  • Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Assisting with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
  • Helping to develop a KPI and budgeting process
