Description

The Part-Time Finance Manager duties will include:

• Ownership and preparation of the monthly management accounts including posting journals, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets, investments, fundraising, balance sheet reconciliations for SA, SAT and AH. Includes all costs and income and ensuring the Finance Director has information required to understand and present the financial positions of the entities
• Prepare accurate financial reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Preparation of the Financial Statements - year ended 31 March - including the preparation for the year end, preparation of the year end numbers and analysis, preparation of the audit deliverables, leading the day to day audit and working with auditors in the preparation of the Financial Statements
• Overseeing and supporting purchase ledger, sales ledger, debt collection and payroll
• Preparation of the annual budgets working alongside the Finance Director
• Cashflow monitoring and forecasting
• VAT returns

Profile

A successful Part-Time Finance Manager should have:

• Demonstrable experience in a senior role within a finance team
• Previous experience with Sage 200 will be advantageous
• Proficiency in excel; particularly experienced working with LookUps and SumIfs
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
