The Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in financial operations, compliance, and planning. You’ll be responsible for accurate reporting, overseeing day-to-day accounting, and offering strategic insights that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and manage transactions
• Act as the main liaison for external audits

Asset & Tax Management

• Oversee fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Prepare VAT, payroll, and corporate tax returns
• Ensure full compliance with UK tax legislation

Strategic & Cost Management

• Analyse financial performance and KPIs
• Prepare reports for management and group stakeholders
• Support budgeting, planning, and investment decisions

Internal Controls & Training

• Establish and improve financial controls and procedures
• Provide financial training and guidance across departments

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• AAT Level 3 qualification (minimum) or equivalent
• Ideally a certified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or similar)
• Experience in financial management
• Solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax law
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
