Part-Time Financial Controller | Boutique Property Advisory Firm | 2-3 Days

Harmonic are delighted to have been retained by one of the UK's leading Boutique Property Advisory Firms, supporting them with their search for a Part-Time Financial Controller to come and join the team on a 2-3-day p/week basis.

Turning over circa £2mill, they specialise in high-value residential acquisitions for UHNW individuals and global family offices, and are renowned for their discreet, expert-led service within the prime central London market.

With a strong reputation built over more than a decade and consistent industry recognition, they have some exciting growth plans over the next 2-5 years and are now looking for a technically savvy Financial Controller to come in and help them scale.

The Role:

You'll be reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with senior leadership. You'll manage the day-to-day finances for the firm and provide strategic financial insight at board level and assist in commercial decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial systems, policies, and processes for internal financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Work closely with client teams and senior management to prepare financial budgets and forecasts
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, that are suitably drafted for non-financial personnel to identify trends and future steps
• Prepare month end accounts and ensure all statutory submissions are made accurately and on time
• Provide financial input to monthly/quarterly reporting packs which are provided to clients
• Work with the management team to ensure that key strategic decisions and business strategy are informed by a clear understanding of the financial implications
• Oversee AP/AR processes in conjunction with client teams to assist in generating strong cashflows
• Involvement in ad hoc financial projects

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

• Experience working in property, consultancy, design, legal practice or similar
• Sole role / small team experience
• Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Engaging and excellent communication skills
• Sense of humour / positive approach to work and problem solving

Salary: £70,000-£80,000 pro rata

Start Date: ASAP (will consider up to 3 months' notice)
