Part time Financial Controller - Media

Are you ready to take ownership of a finance function and build it from the ground up? We’re looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of the finance department.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where you’ll create scalable systems, build out processes, and deliver high-impact financial insights to support confident decision-making across the business.

As Financial Controller, you’ll take charge of day-to-day financial operations, management reporting, planning, and compliance. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and team leads, ensuring financial clarity at every level.

The Role:

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, time reports, dashboards)

• Lead cash flow projections, budgeting, rate card planning, and financial forecasting

• Manage invoicing, reconciliations, credit control, purchase orders, and supplier payments

• Oversee payroll and compliance (VAT, PAYE, Companies House returns)

• Drive project-level financial support: pipeline tracking, project budgets, profitability reporting

• Help implement and improve systems (Xero) and internal controls

• Liaise with external accountants as needed
