History Teacher (Part-Time) for Esteemed Jewish Girls' School in Hackney

Our client, a highly regarded Jewish secondary school and sixth form for girls in Hackney, is seeking a dedicated and inspiring History Teacher to join their faculty on a part-time basis starting in September. Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative history lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.


• Design and implement stimulating lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and values.


• Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.


• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history department's overall effectiveness and contribute to the school's broader educational mission.


• Foster a love of history in students and encourage critical thinking, research skills, and historical analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant degree in History or a related field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching history at the secondary level.


• A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum for history.


• A passion for Jewish history and culture is desirable but not essential.
