Daily Rate: £162.30 - £223.62 (dependent on experience and pay scale)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Derby to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2025. This is a long-term position for the academic year, with potential for extension or a permanent role.

About the Role:
This role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons to a KS2 class, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for pupils. You'll have responsibility for teaching a broad and balanced curriculum and contributing to the wider life of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners in KS2

• Work effectively with support staff and other teachers to raise standards and pupil progress

• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

• Contribute to assessments, planning meetings, and school activities as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent experience teaching in KS2

• A good understanding of the KS2 national curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
