Part time Maintenance Assistant

You will be part of the facilities team working at a charming leisure site in leafy Surrey.

25 hours per week - 5 days in every 7 including a weekend day

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the day-to-day maintenance of the site and grounds including lighting, electrical appliances, plumbing and drainage, heating, and air conditioning;
• Assisting in ensuring that pool plant equipment is always in a safe and clean condition. Pool plant operations (Chlorine and PH)
• PPM checks and maintenance issues prioritised and actioned.
• Assisting in the redecoration and refurbishment of the site
• Assisting with the receipt of deliveries, stocks and supplies including loading / unloading as necessary
• Ensuring the security of the building and its contents, paying particular attention to alarms, locks, fire extinguishers and maintaining records where necessary

Skills required:

• General DIY skills
• High levels of attention to detail
• Good communication skills; both internally and with suppliers and third parties.
• Physically fit enough to be able to undertake arduous or difficult tasks (lifting and carrying work will be involved).
• Basic computing skills in Excel & Word
• Other ad-hoc support as reasonably requested.
• You must be able work weekends and various shifts
• The ideal candidate would have Pool Plant Operators Qualification as well as a bias for electrical trade but not essential.
