Part-Time Management Accountant

Sheridan Maine is working exclusively with a successful and growing group to recruit a Part-Time Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role that blends hands-on accounting, analysis, and project work, all while working closely with an experienced and supportive Finance Director.

You’ll play a key role in helping the business make informed decisions, improve processes, and stay on top of financial performance. Whether you’re looking for a 3-day week or reduced hours across 5 days, there’s flexibility built into this position.

What you’ll be doing:
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reconciling the balance sheet
• Producing insightful sales and cash flow reports
• Delivering KPI and productivity analysis
• Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with auditors
• Getting involved in ad-hoc projects, reporting and process improvements
• Identifying and implementing ways to streamline systems and reporting

What we’re looking for:
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
• Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
• Experience in manufacturing is helpful, but not essential
