The Role

The school is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). The specific part-time timetable will be agreed upon with the successful candidate, offering flexibility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Mathematics to students up to GCSE level.


• Utilizing effective teaching strategies to help students of all abilities build confidence and achieve strong results.


• Monitoring student progress, providing accurate assessment, and implementing targeted support when necessary.


• Collaborating with the Maths department team to share resources and contribute to a positive learning environment.


• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this part-time position, you should have:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related quantitative field.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.


• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, specifically up to GCSE.


• A genuine passion for the subject and commitment to student achievement.


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills, adaptable to various timetables.

Salary & Application

The salary for this position will be competitive, paid pro-rata to the MPS/UPS scale (Inner London pay scale), commensurate with your experience and hours.
