Start: Flexible – Looking for the right fit!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, ideally 12pm-5pm or 1pm-6pm (flexible for the right person)
Child Information: 6-year-old girl and 5-month-old girl
Pets: Small Yorkie
Pay: $16-18 /Hourly

About the Family:

This adventurous, military family recently moved to Asheville after years of relocating and is excited to find a nanny who will become part of their vibrant, music-loving household. Mom is a doctor and Dad is a stay-at-home parent, both with Navy backgrounds. Their two daughters are both active and unique: the 6-year-old is an independent, highly curious child who loves science, reading, and piano, while baby, 5 months, is joyful and happiest when following the beat of her own drum. The family values a warm, organized caregiver who can keep things structured while having fun!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Caring for infant needs, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing, while maintaining her routines
• Engaging the 6 year old with activities that stimulate her intellectually and creatively, including science experiments, reading, and crafts
• Light driving for school pick-up and outings to nearby parks or activities
• Organizing and tidying children’s play areas to keep a clean, organized environment

What You’ll Need to Be a Nanny:

• Childcare experience with both infants and school-aged children
• Organized and proactive mindset
•  Positive, playful, and energetic personality
• Clean background screen
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
