Looking for a fresh start in a role that balances flexibility, impact, and international reach? A dynamic and growing organisation in Warrington is looking for a Part-Time Payroll Specialist to take ownership of their UK payroll operations.

The Role
As Payroll Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across the UK team. This standalone role requires someone confident, proactive, and detail-oriented who can manage their workload independently and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end responsibility for UK payroll, including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
  • Provide payroll insights to support HR on tax and social security implications of employee benefits
  • Maintain and optimise payroll systems and processes
  • Act as primary contact for payroll queries from employees and external stakeholders (HMRC, software providers, auditors)
  • Oversee absence tracking and expense declaration platforms
  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and internal SOX controls
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and integrate relevant changes into practice
  • Support payroll-related projects and initiatives

About You:

  • Solid experience with UK payroll, ideally in a standalone or international context
  • CIPP or similar payroll qualification (desirable)
  • Confident in handling deadlines and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong administrative and Excel skills
  • Clear communicator and problem solver
  • Passion for continuous improvement - and a sense of humour goes a long way!

Why Apply?

  • A flexible, part-time role within a collaborative and forward-thinking business
  • Opportunity to work in an international environment with real impact
  • Strong emphasis on personal development and training
  • Hybrid model offering a great work-life balance
