Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temp to Perm
Location: Great Bridge
Pay: £12.56 per hour (equivalent to £24,500 FTE)
Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible across 3 or 4 days)
Contract: 12-week temporary to permanent
Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for flexible part-time hours and a long-term opportunity?
We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company in Great Bridge who are looking to add a proactive and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a supportive, friendly business with flexibility around your working hours.
Key Responsibilities:Processing supplier invoices and matching them with purchase orders
Coding invoices and managing PO/price matching
Preparing and completing supplier payments via BACS
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Handling queries, credit notes, and missing invoices
Supporting aged creditor investigations
Maintaining supplier account accuracy and supporting cash flow monitoring
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
General administrative support within the finance team
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger or similar finance role
Strong Excel skills; Sage experience is desirable
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confident communication and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and use initiative
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
Flexible part-time working (choose 3 or 4 days per week)
Weekly pay during the 12-week temp period (via Hariley Solutions)
Accrued holiday pay
