Part Time School Caretaker

Job Vacancy: Part-Time School Caretaker - SE12 (Lewisham, Secondary School)

A secondary school in SE12 - Lewisham is looking to appoint a part-time School Caretaker to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

• School Holidays: As required (occasional/flexible cover)

Pay: £14 - £18 per hour (depending on experience)

Main Duties:

• Opening and securing the school premises daily

• General maintenance and minor repair tasks

• Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld

• Keeping outdoor and communal areas clean and tidy

• Assisting with deliveries and contractor access

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role (desirable)

• Basic maintenance/DIY skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to undergo a check)
