Part-Time School Minibus Driver

Are you a reliable and responsible driver looking for a part-time role to fit around your schedule? We are seeking a friendly and safety-conscious School Minibus Driver to join our team for a September 2025 start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a consistent Monday to Friday schedule during term-time.

You will be responsible for the safe and punctual morning and evening transport of our pupils, ensuring they have a positive start and end to their school day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport pupils on a set route for morning and evening school runs.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the minibus is roadworthy and clean.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel usage.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times, adhering to all safeguarding and school policies.
• Liaise professionally with students, parents, and school staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a calm, patient, and highly dependable individual with a passion for working with children.

Essential Requirements:

• A full, clean UK driving license with the D1 entitlement (minibus license).
• A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
• Proven experience driving a minibus or other large vehicle.
• A strong commitment to child safety and a clean driving record.
• Excellent time management and punctuality.
• Desirable (but training can be provided):
• A MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certificate.
• First Aid qualification.
