Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Lyndhurst

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a warm, welcoming SEN school in Lyndhurst, Hampshire on a part-time basis-just Tuesdays and Fridays.

The school provides tailored education for pupils aged 5-19 years on the Autism Spectrum, and has been described as a truly lovely environment to work in.

Key Details:

• Working Days: Tuesdays (08:30-16:30) & Fridays (08:30-15:00)

• Accessible via public transport

• Full days only; flexible options considered

Responsibilities:

• Supporting students during lessons and throughout the school day

• Assisting with both group and individual learning programmes

• Collaborating with teachers to meet educational goals

• May involve 1:1 support or classroom-based assistance

Requirements:

• Maths & English GCSE (Grade C / Level 4 or above)

• Experience working with pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour (preferred)

• Empathetic, fun, patient and collaborative nature

Eligibility:

• Right to work in the UK

• Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate (or willing to apply)

• Two childcare or education-related references
