• 2 days per week
• £90 to £100 per day DOE
• Bristol - BS3
• Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm, Fridays 8am - 3.30pm
• Long term role
• Term time position

Your day to day as a Part Time Teaching Assistant will look like:

• Your main responsibility as a part time Teaching Assistant will be to support the class teacher with the general running of the class room.
• This will be helping with lesson planning, gathering and setting up for lessons, helping to keep the classroom presentable and safe as well and helping manage general classroom behaviour.
• This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the classroom and being exposed to qualified teachers who have been through the training and qualifying process.
• You will have an amazing opportunity to soak up all the advice you need in a supportive environment.

The ideal Part Time Teaching Assistant will be:

• The ideal part time teaching assistant will have a fun and enthusiastic attitude and be able to help engage the children.
• You should be calm and compassionate and be able to adapt your approach to match the needs of the different children, as some children will have additional needs in the classroom and thus EHCP's (Educational Health Care Plans).
• You must understand the importance of safeguarding and have an enhanced DBS certificate. If you do not have one, we can support your application.
