Job Description - Part-Time Team Secretary 12-month FTC


Location: Office-based in London
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 3 days/week (must include Fridays)
Start Date: End of July or 4th August 2025

We are currently recruiting an experienced a Team Secretary on a part-time basis for an established planning consultancy based in the City. The role is being offered on a 12-month contract, to cover maternity leave. This is a part-time role 3 days a week with the potential to increase to 4 days/week.

About the role

You’ll support the commercial team with varied responsibilities that include:
  • Diary management and meeting coordination
  • Producing documents, presentations, and formatting into house style
  • Maintaining internal systems and liaising with suppliers
  • Booking travel, accommodation, and restaurants
  • Assisting with internal/external event planning
  • Supporting marketing and wellbeing team activities
  • Handling reception overflow calls and general office support
  • Helping with ad hoc projects and one-off tasks
  • Acting as a point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from candidates who are:
  • Reliable, helpful, and well-organised
  • Experienced in secretarial or administrative roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Capable of multitasking and working under pressure
  • Professional and approachable in a team environment
  • Bonus points for event planning experience
