A welcoming and supportive primary school in Bicester (OX27) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a part-time basis (3 days per week).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly school community with a warm and approachable Headteacher and a supportive Senior Leadership Team. The role is particularly well suited to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in a nurturing environment. There is also potential for this role to become full-time in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Year 2 lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Support pupil progress through differentiated learning and effective classroom management

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

• Contribute to the wider school community and development initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training

• A passion for teaching and learning in Key Stage 1

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Commitment to the school's values and collaborative ethos

• Willingness to grow professionally as part of a supportive team

Salary: MPS (Main Pay Scale), pro-rata, based on experience
