Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, child-centred lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning in Year 2 students
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive
• Support the development of multilingual learners and students with English as an additional language
• Collaborate with a dedicated teaching team to share ideas, strategies, and best practices
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers to ensure students' progress and wellbeing
• Contribute to the broader life of the school, embracing its strong community spirit

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching in Year 2 or early years education is essential
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to lesson planning and delivery
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a passion for working with young children
• A collaborative team player with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students, including those from multilingual backgrounds
