About the Position As a Pastoral TA you will be instrumental in supporting students who may display challenging behaviours, helping them to develop positive engagement with learning and school community life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with social, emotional or behavioural challenges
• De-escalating situations calmly and professionally, utilizing restorative practices when suitable
• Supporting students' emotional wellbeing and personal growth
• Collaborating closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and SENCOs to deliver effective behaviour interventions
• Demonstrating positive behaviour and establishing trusting relationships with young people

What We're Seeking:

• Prior experience supporting children or young people with behavioural challenges (within education, youth work, or care environments)
• Composed, confident, and optimistic when facing pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• A proactive, empathetic, and balanced approach to discipline
• Current DBS on the Update Service or readiness to obtain one
• Eligibility to work in the UK
