We're recruiting a Payroll Administrator on a part-time basis for a well-established accountancy practice in Wellingborough. You'll take ownership of processing client payrolls accurately and on time, including RTI submissions, PAYE, pensions auto-enrolment and statutory payments, while acting as a helpful first point of contact for client payroll queries.
If you've got solid payroll experience — ideally from a practice or bureau environment — and want a part-time role with a supportive, long-standing local firm, this is worth a conversation.
What you'll be doing
Processing client payrolls accurately and on time, including RTI submissions
Handling PAYE, pensions auto-enrolment and statutory payments (SSP, SMP and similar)
Dealing directly with client payroll queries
Maintaining accurate payroll records and keeping on top of current legislation
Supporting the wider team with ad hoc payroll projects as they arise
What you'll bring
Previous payroll experience, ideally within a practice or bureau environment
Good working knowledge of payroll software and Excel
An accurate, organised approach and comfort managing multiple client payrolls
Strong communication skills
