Our client’s Payroll, Pensions, and HR Systems team is undergoing an exciting phase of transformation, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Payroll Team Leader to join the team on a temporary contract.

As the Payroll Team Leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations, leading a small team, and driving the success of ongoing projects. • Implement best practices in payroll administration and provide support to colleagues across the business.
  • Ensure pension administration is managed in accordance with statutory regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret complex payroll data, relevant legislation, and statutory guidance.
  • Effectively manage high-pressure situations, such as tight deadlines, interruptions, and conflicting demands.

What We Need From You:

  • Extensive experience in running day-to-day payroll operations and associated responsibilities.
  • Experience in pension administration and familiarity with HR systems is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver efficient payroll or accounting functions.
  • Strong understanding of payroll and pension legislation, statutory guidance, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft-based products.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid working model with flexibility on working hours (28 to 37 hours per week).
  • ResourceLink experience would be highly advantageous due to the contract's short duration.

If you're ready for an exciting challenge and want to lead a dynamic team during a period of transformation, we would love to hear from you!
