Payroll Assistant Part-time

My client, a well-established and reputable organisation, based in Kent is looking to for a Payroll Assistant to join them on a part-time, permanent basis.

Duties will include:

• Processing both weekly and monthly payroll for the group of companies
• Handling onboarding and offboarding tasks related to payroll, including processing new starters and leavers
• Preparing and posting payroll journals for the finance team
• Submitting monthly reports including pension data
• Assisting with month-end schedules and supporting with year-end audits
• Resolving any payroll related queries

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience within a similar role
• Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Have intermediate to advanced Excel skills
