Tasks

• Drive passengers safely, reliably and punctually
• Operate scheduled fixed routes and follow timetables and route instructions
• Complete vehicle checks before and after each duty
• Offer friendly, professional service and assist passengers where needed
• Support passengers with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users
• Report safety, vehicle or operational issues promptly
• Help keep the vehicle safe and presentable

Requirements

• Full UK Category D or D1 vocational entitlement permitting professional driving for hire or reward
• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
• Right to work in the UK
• Safe and responsible driving record
• Strong driving skills and a calm, responsible driving style
• Friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Good English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable following scheduled routes and timetables
• Previous bus, minibus, community-transport or other professional passenger-driving experience is desirable
