Performing Artists

Are you a dancer or performing artist working in Bristol’s theatre or creative scene? We’re looking for individuals with a background in the performing arts to work as Teaching Assistants in local schools at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2025).

Our schools love the energy, creativity, and flexibility that performers bring to the classroom. These roles are ideal if you’re between productions or looking to earn additional income while pursuing your career.

You can work as little as one day a week or take on full-time roles when you’re more available.

Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is full-time and during school hours.

Responsibilities include:

• To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs.
• To support students with ASD to fulfil their academic potential.
• To support all pupils, and particularly those with ASD to play a full role in the life of the school, building their confidence and self-esteem

Qualifications & attributes:

• A strong academic or work background with Special Educational Needs
