Job Description - Personal Assistant Administrator

Personal Assistant
  • Job Type: Part-time (18 hours per week)
  • Location: Northwick Park, with occasional work at Potters Bar, Ealing, Brent Cross.
  • Salary: £15 per hour

We are seeking a Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a blind patient liaison officer in Northwick Park. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations including Potters Bar, Ealing, and Brent Cross, the position involves working 18 hours per week, typically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with varying start times.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide comprehensive support to the patient liaison officer, ensuring efficient management of their schedule and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between patients, clinicians, and a wide range of cross-sector partners.
  • Utilise excellent organisational skills to manage tasks and projects proactively.
  • Operate multiple IT systems confidently and efficiently.
  • Use initiative to handle unexpected situations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of patients and healthcare professionals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and office software.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism, with a focus on patient confidentiality.
