Personal Care Assistant

We are looking to expand on our staffing for a client living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). We are looking for kind, reliable, and compassionate carers to join our team. The client requires assistance to maintain independence and dignity at home.

Role Details:

• Location: Reading

• Hours: Flexible based on client requirments but can look like:

  1:1 support every day.

  7 Disturbed Nights per week

  Personal Care double up sessions:

  Monday to Friday 1000-1200 and 2000-2200

  Saturday and Sunday 1100-1300 and 2000-2200

• Pay: hourly rate of £14.50

Support Required:

• Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)

• Mobility support (use of hoists and mobility aids)

• Assistance with meals and nutrition

• General Household duties

• Companionship and emotional support

• Support with communication aids if required

About You:

• Caring, patient, and respectful

• Experience with MND or similar conditions is an advantage

• Experience with manual handling (training can be provided)

• Reliable and able to work as part of a friendly team

• DBS check required (or willing to undergo one)
