Personal Tax Manager

Your new company
Supportive and friendly independent accountancy firm in North Birmingham seeking to hire a Tax specialist to manage a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the compliance process and providing advice in collaboration with the Partners.

Your new role
As this firm's Tax Manager, you will support a varied mix of clients with mostly personal tax matters. You will oversee the tax compliance process with support from an experienced Tax Assistant. The portfolio encompasses mostly HNWIs and business owners with a few non-resident matters to consider, and some trust returns to complete. There will be some tax planning/advisory work to undertake with real scope to further develop this area as there is lots of opportunity for growth within the portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced personal tax professional seeking a role in which you can take real ownership over the management and development of a client portfolio. You will be able to work effectively with colleagues, delegating and collaborating with others across the practice to manage workload, deadlines and maximise opportunities.
