PHS Job 3104, Part-time Housekeeper, Live-out, Crowthorne, Berkshire, £20-25 per hour gross

Perfect Household Staff are delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable housekeeper to support a family residing in the beautiful village of Crowthorne, Berkshire. Surrounded by leafy avenues and a charming village atmosphere, the residence is a modern yet elegant home, combining natural materials and contemporary finishes with timeless character.

The household requires an experienced individual who will attend 4–5 times per week, ideally within the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for 2–3 hours each visit, totalling up to 15 hours weekly. The role will encompass a hands-on approach to general housekeeping, including tidying, cleaning, and laundry. A high level of attention to detail is required, particularly when caring for areas such as the marble kitchen, natural wood surfaces, and extensive painted wood finishes. Cleaning products and materials will be provided.

The property is spread across three floors and includes a kitchen, a drawing room, study, downstairs cloakroom, four bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The housekeeper will be expected to maintain these areas to the highest standard, with regular movement between floors as part of daily duties. The family may provide keys, entrusting the chosen candidate to take responsibility for the home when they are not present. The household is home to a cat; therefore, a candidate who is comfortable around pets is essential.

This position requires a trustworthy, proactive, and efficient professional who takes pride in their work and has the flexibility to work Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the Part Time Housekeeper:

• Carrying out daily cleaning and tidying across three floors of the residence
  


• Maintaining marble surfaces, natural wood, and painted finishes with appropriate care
  


• Managing household laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and organising wardrobes
  


• Cleaning and presenting the kitchen, living area, drawing room, study, cloakroom, bedrooms, and bathrooms to a high standard
  


• Ensuring rooms remain fresh, orderly, and ready for use at all times
  


• Taking responsibility for the home in the employer’s absence, with keys provided if required
  


• Adopting a hands-on and proactive approach in managing tasks independently whilst respecting the household’s routines
  

 Requirements for The Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in private cooking roles
  


• Strong checkable references
