Physical Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Promote a healthy, active lifestyle and encourage participation in a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Manage and organise extra-curricular sports clubs and teams, nurturing a love for physical fitness beyond the classroom.
• Support the development of students' physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities and comply with safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates all students to achieve their best.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A strong background in Physical Education and experience teaching PE at the secondary level.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to promoting physical health and well-being.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
