Planner Part time

Are you an experienced Freelance Planner looking for an immediate, long-term opportunity with a UK-leading Tier 1 Main Contractor?

New urgent role for a freelance Planner to work on a minimum 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, offering you the chance to work on a diverse range of prestigious projects across the education, leisure, and commercial sectors. With project values from £30m to £100m, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the UK's built environment.

LTD Company method of payment is authorised and will be working 2x days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using ASTA Powerproject.
• Monitoring project progress against programme, identifying and reporting on deviations.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure programme alignment.
• Assessing and mitigating programme risks and opportunities.
• Preparing and presenting programme updates and reports to senior management.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of planning processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Planner within the UK construction sector, ideally with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Extensive ASTA Powerproject software experience
• Experience working on projects valued between £30m - £100m.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
