Practice Manager

• Hourly Rate: £25 - £30 per hour depending on experience

• Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hours per week initially, increasing to 30 hours)

We are seeking a Practice Manager with a strong background in finance and practice management. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible working schedule initially as a locum, with the potential to transition into a long-term position. Experience in a similar role is highly valued, especially skills in financial management.

• Oversee the daily operations of the practice, ensuring efficient and effective management.
• Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other legal requirements.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Work closely with medical staff to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and professionally.

• Proven experience as a Practice Manager, particularly in a healthcare or related setting.
• Strong financial management experience, with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with medical professionals, staff, and patients.
• Knowledge of legal and health compliance frameworks.
