Premises Assistant - Secondary School
Location: Greenwich, South East London
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £15-£18 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm
Contract: Temporary with potential for permanent placement

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Premises Assistant to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Greenwich. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in facilities or maintenance, looking to contribute to the smooth operation of a school environment.

• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Set up and take down furniture for events and activities.

• Assist with opening and closing the school premises.

• Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Support with deliveries, health and safety checks, and other ad-hoc tasks.

• Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.

• Good communication skills and a professional manner.

• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.

• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).

• Competitive hourly rate: £15-£18 per hour.

• Full-time hours: 8:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.
