Thrive Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a small, nurturing Church of England primary school located in a beautiful rural setting just outside of Cheltenham. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Assistant to join the team on a fixed term basis, covering a maternity leave for the duration of one academic year. The position is 25 hours per week during term time, starting in September 2025.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
• Ideally have experience working with young children in a preschool or early years setting
• Demonstrate a nurturing, positive, and proactive approach to supporting children's development
• Be aligned with the school’s Christian ethos and values, promoting kindness and integrity in their daily practice
• Work collaboratively as part of a small, close-knit team
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
