Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

At our clients Preschool Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inspiring, and supportive learning environment where children can thrive. You will lead a team of practitioners, plan engaging, play-based activities, and ensure that every child receives high-quality care and early education.

• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that support the developmental needs of preschool-aged children

• Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Lead and support a team of early years staff to deliver outstanding care and education

• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about their child's progress

• Manage behaviour in a calm and respectful way, promoting emotional well-being and independence

• Monitor and record children's development, preparing reports and assessments as required

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience across the setting

• Experience: Previous experience working in a nursery or preschool setting is essential

• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire both children and team members

• Qualifications: A degree or recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) is preferred

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment

• Passion: A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality early education
