Primary - Reception Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join a vibrant school in Newmarket. This long-term, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about contributing to the early educational journey of children.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for reception-aged children.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play and structured activities.
• Assess and record each child’s progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support the development of the whole child.
• Implement school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience as a Reception Teacher or in early years education.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers and other professionals.
