Primary Teacher - Part-Time Cover Bath, Somerset

Hays Education are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to provide part-time cover across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Bath, Somerset, and North Somerset. This role begins in September 2025 and will initially run until the Christmas holidays, with the potential for extension. You'll be working 3 days per week, ideal for those seeking a better work-life balance or looking to combine this with other teaching opportunities.
Your new role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 classes, depending on school needs. You'll foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, teaching core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science, and supporting pupils' academic and personal development. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity.What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or PGCE)
• Recent teaching experience within the last 5 years
• Strong knowledge of the
  Primary National Curriculum
• Flexibility to travel across
  Bath, Somerset, and North Somerset
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil progress
