Teaching Assistant – Level 2

• Location:  South Lancaster
• Job Type: Part-time (15 hrs per week)
• Short term cover

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide general classroom support in Y6. This role is ideal for someone who has experience working in upper Key stage 2. Must have a good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and have a good level of competency in English and Maths.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide consistent support to a fantastic Year 6 class
• Work part-time over 5 days (Morning only 08:45 – 12:00)
• Engage with pupils to enhance learning and development
• Collaborate with teaching staff and assist with assessment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in KS2
• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students.
• Patience, understanding, and a genuine interest in helping children achieve their potential.
• Preferred: Good working knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, in particular English and Maths
