Primary Teaching Assistant – Warwickshire

Revolve Collective is working on behalf of primary schools across Warwickshire to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants, ideally with a relevant qualification.

Our Warwick partners place importance on inclusion, personal development and a curriculum enriched by outdoor learning and wider experiences. In the classroom, that means supporting children to participate, develop their understanding and become less dependent on adult help.

The support schools need

You’ll assist the class teacher with learning activities, reinforce literacy and numeracy, and work with individuals or small groups. Knowing when to explain, model, prompt or step back is an important part of the work.

You’ll also follow agreed support strategies and pass on useful observations about pupils’ progress.

Qualifications and classroom knowledge

Primary classroom experience.

Ideally, a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or a relevant equivalent.

Familiarity with KS1 or KS2.

*

Clear communication and an understanding of safeguarding.

Please highlight Year 3, Year 4, SEN/SEND or intervention experience where relevant.
