Tutor Needed - Year 5 (English & Maths) - Basingstoke

Location: Student's home in Basingstoke
Subjects: English & Maths (Primary)
Hours: 2 hours per week
Days: Monday or Tuesday (flexible)
Start: As soon as possible

We are looking for a patient, engaging Primary Tutor to support a Year 5 pupil in their home. The student has SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs and ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), so experience or a strong understanding of these areas is essential.

About the role

One-to-one tutoring in the family home
Focus on building confidence and progress in English and Maths
Helping the student remain engaged with learning through tailored, structured sessions
Creating a calm, supportive, and relationship-led learning environment

Requirements

Experience working with children with SEMH and ASC
Strong background in Primary English and Maths
Reliable, friendly, and able to build rapport
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
