Conveyancing Legal Secretary – 4 Week Assignment
Location: Essex
We are working with a well-regarded firm in Essex who are seeking a Legal Secretary to provide cover within their Residential Conveyancing department. This is a 4-week assignment, starting ASAP, with the option of full-time or part-time hours.
Key responsibilities include:
Typing from dictation and preparing documents to a high standard
Assisting with Stamp Duty applications
Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
Downloading and managing Land Registry documents
Providing general administrative and secretarial support to the team
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Conveyancing (no commercial work involved)
Strong typing skills, with experience of working from dictation
Good working knowledge of Land Registry and Stamp Duty processes
Ability to manage a varied workload and work efficiently under pressure
