Private Kitchen Assistant

If you are looking for part-time work on a casual basis to fit around your other commitments, we are looking for a casual Kitchen Assistant to come and join our friendly team within the private household at Bolton Hall, Bolton Abbey.
You will be part of a small team working under the direction of the Housekeeper. The role includes washing of breakfast plates, cutlery and glasses, in addition to helping in the main kitchen washing cooking pots, helping prepare vegetables alongside general kitchen tidying/cleaning.
Hours will include working weekends and split shifts, usually from 8.00-13.00 and 18.30-22.00 hours. Availability to work during 16 August to 29 August 2024 is desirable with potential availability to work weekends throughout September-January would be extremely useful.
Previous experience is not necessary. You will however understand the need for discretion and confidentiality and must want to help contribute towards our successful team environment.
The hours for this position are on a casual basis and would be as needed by the Kitchen team. Due to the rural location and split shifts, your own transport is essential.
