An experienced barrister in property sought on a full-time permanent basis in North London Hertfordshire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced barrister to join a growing dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge in property matters and be adept at working on cases under the Landlord and Tenants Act and providing advice on complex cases and transactions.

Responsibilities

Cases under the Landlord and Tenant Act
Lease renewals
Possession
Leasehold and enfranchisements
Leasehold agreements
Acting for developers
Advising on complex transactions

Our client a barristers chambers specialises in property litigation work including service charges and other property related debt. Their clients include some of the biggest landlords and management companies in the UK.

Due to an increase in workload Chambers is expanding and is looking to recruit a further barrister to undertake property related work. Most of your time will be spent on advocacy at County Courts and the First Tier Tribunal.
There will also be some advice/ drafting work which can be done from home.

The Candidate

Qualified barrister with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE and has experience in property litigation
Excellent communication and client care skills
A skilled advocate
Attention to detail will be a key attribute
A team player who is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
