Role: Weighbridge Operator (Part-Time)

Pay Rate: £12.47 per hour (PAYE)

OT Rates: x1.5 for anything over 42.5 hours worked per week

Location: Aggregate Industries, Bardon Hill, Coalville, LE67 1TL

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 17:30

Contract Length: Minimum 3 months with the possibility of extension

Total Hours per Week: 17.5 hours

Start: Asap (Once completing onboarding checks)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage weighbridge operations, ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drivers, contractors, and internal teams, resolving queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process delivery and collection documentation, ensuring all records are maintained to company standards.
  • Support stock management by monitoring material movements and ensuring accurate reporting.
    Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining site security by controlling vehicle access and ensuring all visitors adhere to safety protocols.
    Communicate effectively with site management, sharing updates on weighbridge activities and operational concerns.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in systems such as SAP or similar platforms, preferred.
  • Proven ability to handle customer queries professionally and effectively.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
    Understanding of safe working practices and site protocols.
